Our Pastor – Rob Williamson

Hi! I’m Pastor Rob Williamson. I have a passion for constructive theology, liturgical worship that makes us feel something, artistic expression as an outlet for truth, and enjoying the wonderful variety of God’s good creation. As a person living with neurodivergence, I advocate for the right of all persons to exist in the worship space and the value of each individual’s contribution to the Body of Christ.

Growing up in a military family interested in learning about the world, I had the opportunity to travel, experience other cultures, and gain an appreciation for the rich history of the world. I was blessed to have parents who encouraged me in my pursuits through my “wilderness years” before hearing the call to ministry. I hold a BA in Communication Studies from UMGC and an MDiv from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary.

I am fortunate to have a wonderful spouse, Rebecca, and am proud of her work in the legal field. Without her clarity and support, none of this journey would have been possible.

I am an avid fan of most things nerdy, especially Spider-Man, X-Men, Disney’s Gargoyles, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I spend much of my free time playing board games and D&D with my friends. I love LEGO and have some of my favorite sets in my office.

My mission as a pastor is to teach of and display the unconditional and unrelenting love, grace, and acceptance of God through Jesus Christ. My calling is to raise up disciples of Christ in this community, care for them, and empower them to spread the Gospel. My welcome is to any who want to join us.
