The Christian Education Board helps our members grow in wisdom and deepen their knowledge of the Bible. We want to make the Bible accessible to all and encourage everyone to grow in their love of God’s Word. We tackle the hard questions, knowing that God’s grace is sufficient and that the Bible provides the most important answers to today’s biggest questions. We have programs for every age group and we encourage you to participate if you want to learn more about God and our faith!
Sunday School
Every Sunday, during the second service, all children are invited to attend Sunday School. There is currently one Sunday school class for all age groups full of songs, activities, crafts, and games, which help bring the Bible to life and make it easy to understand and remember. It is an exciting time of learning, building friendships, and enjoying the many amazing stories the Bible has to offer. (Children are also welcome to remain in the main service with their parents – whichever makes you feel most comfortable!)
Confirmation – on hold pending a new pastor
Anyone in 6th grade or older is invited to take part in Confirmation class. Confirmation class is a 2-year-long youth Bible study, that takes the students through the entire Bible, giving them a solid grounding in biblical knowledge and a strong understanding of our faith.
At the end of the class, on a special Confirmation Sunday, the students stand before the congregation to publicly affirm their faith, relying on God’s promise of holy baptism, and pledge lifelong fidelity to Christ. It is a wonderful time of celebrating our young members’ desire to embrace our faith and become full-fledged members of the church.
Adult Bible Studies
Our current adult Bible study meets weekly via Zoom on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am. Contact Marlene at marlenek@att.net for information on the current study and how to join in.
